How to Charge the Handle

  1. Locate the USB-C port at the base of the handle.

  2. Connect the included cable. You may use any reliable USB-C cable.

  3. It is recommended to charge with the handle turned off for faster charging; if left on, it will simply take longer.

  4. Upon connection:

  5. A red side LED turns on → charging.

  6. Once charging is complete, the red LED turns off and a blue LED turns on → charge complete.

Charging may take several hours, depending on the initial level and battery condition. Be patient.

A mild warm sensation near the USB port and LEDs during charging is normal. Do not cover the equipment or expose it to direct sunlight.

Important Warning

18650 Li-ion cells store a large amount of energy. Incorrect use can cause overheating, fire, explosion, burns, or damage to the equipment.

  • Always use batteries and cables in good condition.

  • Do not puncture, strike, disassemble, or short-circuit the battery.

  • Charge on a non-flammable surface, in a well-ventilated area, and under supervision.

  • Do not leave the handle unattended while charging.

  • If you detect unusual smell, smoke, crackling sounds, swelling, or abnormal temperature, disconnect immediately and let it cool down in a safe place.

Battery Life and Replacement

In continuous-use tests — transmitting to a receiver without pauses — the handle reached ≈11 hours per charge with a 2500mAh battery. Under normal use, the battery should last several days. Actual runtime will vary depending on usage intensity, temperature, and cell age.

Battery Replacement

You may replace the battery if it deteriorates or if you prefer to carry a charged spare cell.

  1. Turn off the handle before starting (prevents damage and short circuits).

  2. Remove the screw securing the battery cover and take it off.

  3. Remove the used cell and insert a 18650 Li-ion “flat-top” cell.

  4. Respect the polarity indicated on the battery socket. Do not force the cell.

  5. Replace the cover and screw.

  6. A minimum capacity of 2000 mAh is recommended for performance similar to test results.

  7. Do not use damaged batteries (dented, swollen, with torn wrap, or that overheat excessively). Dispose of cells according to local regulations.

Good Practices

  • Charge on a stable surface, away from combustible materials.

  • Disconnect the cable once charging is complete.

  • If the equipment will be stored for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent slow discharge while the device is off. If the expected downtime is short, leave the battery partially charged and check its level periodically.

With these guidelines, your handle will be ready to fly safely and reliably.
