Firmware Update

One of the features we’re proud to offer is the ability to add new functionalities and fix bugs through firmware updates. Keep in mind—this is a fully handcrafted project, and it's not free from imperfections. All updates are free of charge.

Firmware updates are designed to apply progressively and automatically, so you can go from version 1 to version 10 in a single step—no need to manually install 2, 3, 4... through 9.

Read this section carefully before attempting any update. Improper handling could leave your device in an unrecoverable state.

How to Update

Remove the battery

Power off the handle, unscrew the battery cover, and remove the battery. Place it in a safe spot—avoid short circuits, which could damage the battery or cause a fire.

Remove the SD card

The SD card is located just above the positive battery contact. (Use tweezers if needed.) Take note of the orientation so you can reinsert it correctly later.

Insert the SD card into a computer

Connect the card using an adapter or built-in SD reader.

The contents of the SD card will remain after the update, but we recommend making a backup of the card on your computer.

Download the firmware

Download the latest firmware file from the section below and copy it directly onto the SD card — not inside any folder. The file must be named exactly: firmware.bin.

Do not use firmware from other sources—this may corrupt your device. Proceed at your own risk and understand that it may void support.

Reinsert the SD card into the handle

Safely eject the SD card from your computer and insert it into the handle, ensuring it is firmly seated. Reinstall the battery, cover, and screw—be careful not to press against the SD card when closing the cover.

Respect the battery polarity as marked on the handle. Incorrect polarity may damage the device or cause a fire.

Power on the handle

Turn the handle on and wait a few seconds. If everything was done correctly, you’ll see a confirmation message indicating the update was successful. The device will then restart automatically.

To double-check, go to the Information menu and confirm the installed firmware version. Congratulations! Your device is now up to date.
