General Settings
General settings define how the handle behaves independently of the selected model. These parameters let you personalize the device to suit your preferences and needs, affecting global aspects of operation and the user interface.
Language
The system offers basic multilingual support. For more details, visit the Internationalization section.
To change the language, navigate to the Language option using ↑ and ↓. Once highlighted, press the cursor click to select it.
Use ↑ and ↓ again to choose your preferred language, then press the cursor click to confirm and apply it.
Sound Alerts
In certain situations, the device emits tones as alerts or feedback signals. This option allows you to mute most of these sounds, which can be useful in environments where noise is not desirable.
However, critical sound alerts will always remain active, including:
Low battery warning
Throttle trim at minimum or maximum limit
Other system alerts requiring immediate attention
To toggle this setting, go to the Sound option using ↑ and ↓, then press the cursor click.
Use ↑ and ↓ to select Enabled or Disabled, then press the cursor click to confirm.
Haptic Alerts (Vibration)
Haptic alerts complement sound alerts—especially useful during flights with combustion engines where motor noise may mask audio cues. These alerts consist of a subtle vibration at the base of the handle, designed to catch your attention and prompt you to check the screen for important information.
To enable or disable this feature, navigate to Vibration using ↑ and ↓, then press the cursor click.
Use ↑ and ↓ again to choose between Enabled or Disabled, and press the cursor click to apply the change.
Theme
You can switch between light and dark themes for the display, allowing better visibility depending on your environment.
To change the theme, go to the Theme option using ↑ and ↓, then press the cursor click.
Use ↑ and ↓ to select Light or Dark, then confirm with the cursor click.
Trigger Calibration
Trigger calibration allows you to precisely adjust the trigger’s travel, defining its minimum and maximum points to ensure accurate response on the throttle channel.
To calibrate, go to the Calibration option using ↑ and ↓, then press the cursor click.
The system will prompt you to release the trigger. Click the cursor to record this point.
You will hear intermittent beeps for about 5 seconds. A long beep will confirm that the minimum point has been calibrated.
You will then be asked to fully press and hold the trigger at the end of its travel. Press the cursor click to start. Intermittent beeps will sound for ~5 seconds. A long beep will confirm that the maximum point has been recorded.
Finally, click the cursor to save the calibration values. The settings will be stored permanently in the handle.
All handles are factory-calibrated before shipping. If your unit is running firmware version 1.2.6 or higher, calibration is not required upon receiving it. Perform this procedure only if you notice that the throttle response does not match the trigger movement.
During the intermittent beeps, keep the trigger completely still to ensure accurate readings. If the trigger is moved during this process, calibration will be invalid and must be restarted.
Factory Reset
Factory reset deletes all user settings and restores the device to its default state. It will also erase all created models and any custom startup image—if one exists.
To reset the device, navigate to Factory Reset using ↑ and ↓, then press the cursor click.
A confirmation dialog will appear. Select "Yes" and press the center button to begin.
The process will only take a few seconds. Once complete, the device will reboot with factory settings.
Performing a factory reset will erase all models and wipe the contents of the SD card. Be sure to back up your data if you wish to keep it.
