Timer

The handle includes a built-in timer function that allows you to set flight durations without needing an external stopwatch. You can configure a time between 30 seconds and 15 minutes.

This feature includes two screens:

• One for timer setup

• Another for execution, where the remaining time is shown as a countdown

When there’s 1 minute remaining and again at zero, the device triggers sound and haptic alerts (vibration) to notify you that the programmed time has ended.

This timer does not control the throttle or interfere with any flight function. It is purely informational. In future firmware updates, an advanced timer will be introduced, allowing for remote motor control—including options like RPM configuration, throttle curves, engine cutoff, and flight start/stop directly from the handle. This feature will replicate the behavior of timers used in electric Control Line models.

This timer does not provide the accuracy required for highly demanding applications. For more precise measurements, use a professional-grade device.

Timer Setup

Navigate to the Duration option using ↑ and ↓. Once highlighted, press the cursor click to select it.

Use ↑ and ↓ again to increase or decrease the time in 30-second increments. Press the cursor click to confirm the selected duration.

Once the time is set, navigate to the Start option and click to enter the timer execution screen.

Running the Timer

When the execution screen opens, the countdown hasn’t started yet. You’ll see a button labeled “Start”. Prepare your model and verify everything is ready. When you’re good to go, press the cursor click to begin the countdown.

Once started, the button will switch to “Pause”. You can click at any time to pause the timer. When paused, the button changes to “Resume”, allowing you to continue the countdown when you’re ready. You can pause and resume the timer as many times as needed.

• When 1 minute remains, a sound and vibration alert will notify you.

• When the countdown reaches zero, you’ll hear three beeps with vibration, signaling the end of the flight time.

The display will show 00:00 along with a button to return to the timer setup screen. Click the cursor to go back.

To exit the execution screen before the countdown ends, press and hold the cursor click for a few seconds. This will cancel the countdown and return you to the setup screen.
